When borrowers ask AI for a loan officer, are you named?
More home buyers now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude “who’s a good loan officer near me?” before they call anyone. The answer is usually three to five names. If yours isn’t one of them, that borrower calls someone else.
No one can promise you a place in those answers, and we won’t. What we can do is fix the things AI relies on, starting with a free one-minute check of your website.
See who AI named in your city
We asked each assistant the same three questions a borrower would ask:
- “Good mortgage loan officer in [city]”
- “Who can help a first-time home buyer get a mortgage in [city]?”
- “Who should I talk to about refinancing in [city]?”
Snapshot from October 30, 2026. AI answers change from day to day, so this isn’t a ranking.
AI assistants don’t keep a list of “the best loan officers”
They piece an answer together from what they can find and trust online. Four things matter most.
Many loan officer pages sit inside a company site that blocks AI tools, hide their content behind code AI tools don’t run, or never say plainly who you help and where you’re licensed.
The same name, company, NMLS ID, phone number and service area on your website, your Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, Zillow and NMLS Consumer Access.
Reviews on Google, Zillow and Experience.com, plus mentions of you on other websites, local news and real estate agents’ pages.
Clear answers to “do you do FHA and VA loans?”, “can you help with down payment assistance?”, “which states are you licensed in?” and “how long does pre-qualification take?”.
Free, and done for you
Check your website the way AI reads it
Enter your web address and in about a minute we show what gets in the way: AI tools blocked, pages AI can’t read, missing business details. Each problem comes with a plain fix.
FreeA page AI can read
A public page with your loan programs, service area, licensing, answers to common borrower questions and your reviews, set out so AI tools and search engines can read it. Your NMLS ID is on it by default.
FreeFixes without a developer
Where we can’t change your site ourselves, we give you the exact lines to paste in, or to send to whoever runs your website or your company’s marketing team.
FreeAnswers to borrower questions
Ready-written answers built from your own details (programs, first-time buyers, refinancing, areas), for you and your compliance team to check and edit.
FreeAsking for reviews made easy
Your Google review link and ready-to-send request messages for past clients and referral partners.
FreeSee who AI names in your city
Our AI Recommendation Index is public and free: 25 US cities, the names AI gave, and how many of the three assistants agreed.
FreeWhat you can do this week
- Ask for reviews
Ask your last 10 closed clients for a Google review. A short text with the link right after closing works best.
- Match your details
Make sure your name, company, NMLS ID and phone number are exactly the same on your website, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn and Zillow.
- Answer the questions borrowers ask
Add a short section that says which loan types you do, which states you’re licensed in, and how you help first-time buyers.
- Run the free check
Check your website and fix anything it flags.
Being named only helps if you answer first
A borrower who finds you through AI usually calls or fills in a form straight away, and often contacts two or three loan officers at once. The one who answers first usually gets the conversation. Our free calculator shows what slow replies cost you, from your own numbers.
Want borrowers before AI catches up?
AI learns about a loan officer over weeks and months. But the questions borrowers ask AI are also typed into Google today, and a Google ad can appear for them as soon as it’s live. We set up and run Google Ads for loan officers, with your own lead page. Your AI-ready page stays free either way.
Straight answers
Can you guarantee AI will recommend me?
No. No one can. We improve what AI tools read about you; they decide who to name, and their answers change from day to day.
Where do your figures come from?
On October 30, 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude three questions a borrower would ask in each of 25 US cities, and counted the names each one gave. They named 754 loan officers and lenders; 91% were named by only one of the three. It’s a snapshot, not a ranking, and the full results are on our AI Index pages.
How long does it take?
We don’t know for any one loan officer, and anyone who gives you a date is guessing. Website fixes can be read within days; reviews and mentions build up over months. We re-run the Index regularly, so you can see whether you’re named.
My company controls my website. Can I still do this?
Yes. Your free page works on its own, and we send you the exact changes to pass to your company’s marketing or compliance team. Many loan officers need their approval before anything goes live.
Is it really free?
The website check, your AI-ready page, the suggested answers and the reviews kit are free. If you want borrowers sooner, we also run Google Ads for loan officers, which is a paid service.
What about mortgage advertising rules?
We never write rates, APRs or “pre-approved” claims for you, and your NMLS ID appears on your page. You and your company stay responsible for what you publish.
Are you connected to OpenAI, Google or Anthropic?
No. Launch Nation is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.
