llms.txt for real estate agents

Buyers and sellers ask AI who to call. Make sure it can read the areas you know and the services you offer.

What people ask AI about agents

People ask "who is a good real estate agent in Round Rock", "best realtor for first-time buyers" or "who can tell me what my home is worth". AI assistants lean on what they can read about each agent: the neighborhoods you work, the kind of clients you help, how to reach you and your license.

Stay on the right side of fair housing

Describe homes, areas and your services, not who should live somewhere. Phrases like "family-friendly", "safe neighborhood" or "good schools" can create fair housing problems in advertising, and AI assistants repeat what they read. The generator flags them while you type.

How to use it

  1. Enter your name or team, brokerage, license and the areas you serve.
  2. List what you do: buying, selling, home value reports, relocation.
  3. Get the full file by email, upload it, and check it at yourwebsite.com/llms.txt.

Questions

Does my brokerage site count?

If you have your own website, put llms.txt there. If you only have a profile on a brokerage site, keep that profile complete; llms.txt needs a site you control.

Should I list neighborhoods?

Yes, list the areas you actually work. Describe the area, not the people in it.

What about listings?

Link to your listings page instead of listing homes in the file; listings change too often.

Why do you ask for my email?

The preview is free. We email the full file and a free report on what ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude say when people near you ask for a real estate agent. We store your email and website to send them.
