When patients ask AI for a dentist, is your practice named?
More patients now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude “who’s a good dentist near me?” before they look at Google. The answer is usually three to five practices. If yours isn’t one of them, that patient never sees you.
No one can promise you a place in those answers, and we won’t. What we can do is fix the things AI relies on, starting with a free one-minute check of your website.
See who AI named in your town
We asked each assistant the same four questions a patient would ask:
- “Best dentist in [town]”
- “Emergency dentist in [town] open today”
- “Dentist in [town] accepting new patients”
- “Where can I get dental implants in [town]?”
Snapshot from 30 October 2026. AI answers change from day to day, so this isn’t a ranking.
AI assistants don’t keep a list of “the best dentists”
They piece an answer together from what they can find and trust online. Four things matter most.
Many practice websites block AI tools by accident, hide their content behind code AI tools don’t run, or never say plainly which treatments they offer and where.
The same practice name, address, phone number and treatments on your website, your Google Business Profile, the NHS website and the directories you’re listed in.
Google reviews above all, plus mentions of your practice on other websites, local news and dental directories.
Clear answers to “are you taking new NHS patients?”, “do you offer Invisalign?”, “can I get an emergency appointment today?” and “how much are implants?”.
Free, and done for you
Check your website the way AI reads it
Enter your web address and in about a minute we show what gets in the way: AI tools blocked, pages AI can’t read, missing practice details. Each problem comes with a plain fix.
FreeA page AI can read
A public page for your practice with your treatments, opening hours, answers to common patient questions and your Google rating, set out so AI tools and search engines can read it.
FreeFixes without a developer
Where we can’t change your site ourselves, we give you the exact lines to paste in, or to send to whoever looks after your website.
FreeAnswers to patient questions
Ready-written answers built from your own details (new patients, emergencies, treatments, fees), for you to check and edit.
FreeAsking for reviews made easy
Your Google review link and ready-to-send request messages, sent from your own phone or email.
FreeSee who AI names in your town
Our AI Recommendation Index is public and free: 25 UK towns, the practices AI named, and how many of the three assistants agreed.
FreeWhat you can do this week
- Ask for reviews
Ask your last 10 happy patients for a Google review. A short text with the link works best.
- Match your details
Make sure your practice name, address and phone number are exactly the same on your website, your Google Business Profile and the NHS website.
- Answer the questions patients ask
Add a short section that says whether you take new NHS or private patients, how emergency appointments work, and which treatments you offer.
- Run the free check
Check your website and fix anything it flags.
Being named only helps if the patient gets through
A patient who finds you through AI usually rings straight away. If nobody answers at lunchtime or after 5pm, they ring the next practice on the list. Our Virtual Front Desk texts every missed caller back at once and answers out of hours. It’s free for 60 days, and practices that book a call by 30 November 2026 keep the launch price for 12 months.
Want new patients before AI catches up?
AI learns about a practice over weeks and months. But the questions patients ask AI are also typed into Google today, and a Google ad can appear for them as soon as it’s live. We set up and run Google Ads for dental practices. Your AI-ready page stays free either way.
Straight answers
Can you guarantee AI will recommend my practice?
No. No one can. We improve what AI tools read about your practice; they decide who to name, and their answers change from day to day.
Where do your figures come from?
On 30 October 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude four questions a patient would ask in each of 25 UK towns, and counted which practices each one named. They named 917 practices; 72% were named by only one of the three. It’s a snapshot, not a ranking, and the full results are on our AI Index pages.
How long does it take?
We don’t know for any one practice, and anyone who gives you a date is guessing. Website fixes can be read within days; reviews and mentions build up over months. We re-run the Index regularly, so you can see whether you’re named.
Do I have to change my website?
No. Your free page works on its own. Fixing your own site as well helps, and we show you exactly what to change.
Is it really free?
The website check, your AI-ready page, the suggested answers and the reviews kit are free. If you’d like more patients sooner, we also run Google Ads for practices, which is a paid service.
Does this fit the GDC’s advertising guidance?
Everything we suggest is about describing your practice accurately: real treatments, real opening hours, real reviews. You stay responsible for what your practice publishes, and we never write claims for you that you can’t back up.
Are you connected to OpenAI, Google or Anthropic?
No. Launch Nation is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.
